Hope

hope that no matter what difficulties arise in family, health, or finances, a family can survive it and get to the other side. Don't ask me to answer 'how' in one response, rather it's an evolving idea. Solutions present themselves as you go along the path. As you seek the thing it is you want to achieve, so will an idea come to you. I do not attribute it to a god or a religion, though I may have one or both of those. This is life. Hope. Live with me,...

This Just In

To all my rockin veteran spouses out there, WHOM I AM DYING TO MEET already, VA offers a caregiver program. Hoping this will offer some long awaited relief myself, the support I miss from being in the active duty community, and help to many families across the country. The caregiver support line is 1-855-260-3274. The website is helpful and informational, Caregiver.gov. Check it:

" VA now provides additional support to eligible post-9/11 Veterans who elect to receive their care in a home setting from a primary Family Caregiver. Eligible primary Family Caregivers can receive a stipend, training, mental health services, and access to health insurance if they are not already under a health care plan.

Assistance with the application process is available. Caregiver Support Coordinators are stationed at every VA Medical Center; or dial toll-free 1-877-222 VETS (8387)."
